Personal Statement

Following a career in the Telecommunications Industry and being a qualified Diving Instructor, Commercial Diver and Underwater Photographer I decided to go travelling. I have since worked all around the world in many interesting countries, situations and with many fascinating people, including many celebrities and 'Greats' of the dive world.
The origin of the name Moraybite comes as a result me being attacked by an 8' Giant Moray Eel (Gymnothorax javanicus) whilst diving in the Red Sea (Hurghada,Egypt) in 1994. I still have the scars to prove it.
Having settled back in my home city of Cardiff, I have continued with my photography, a passion from childhood. having won several competitions over the years and had photographs published in newspapers and dive magazines worldwide, I have material on the Irish Football Association web site. I work mainly as a Freelance Photographer and Photo Journalist but I occasionally work with event photography companies,  covering everything from show jumping to surfing, motor sports and numerous other events, I even cover Irish Dancing Feisana (competions).
